Level 4 – Certificate of Leadership

The Certificate of Leadership program is designed to develop and produce D12 leaders who can manage and multiply discipleship program. It aims to further improve the qualifications and skills of Dgroup leaders who will disciple leaders of small groups. The six (6) courses in this level intend to develop lay leadership and competence in Bible communication in students.

Spiritual Movement

This course is designed to equip Dgroup leaders to step up to the next level and become D12 leaders. Discipleship will be put in the context of the CCF vision of a movement for spiritual multiplication. The mindset, knowledge and skills needed to empower Dgroup members to become Dgroup leaders will be tackled. The course includes a session on planning and running bridging events as a tool for spiritual multiplication.

Leadership 3 – Leading Leaders

The scope of this course goes beyond the leader’s own circle of influence. The goal of Leadership 3 is to encourage the leader to identify, select and empower potential leaders in his own group so that they can become effective leaders as well. This 6-session course will assist the students in developing a leadership climate in his own group and help him transition his leadership role to the next generation of leaders.

Christian Ethics – Winsome Christianity at Home, Work and Society

Practical issues like taxation, politics, justice, work, civil rights, etc. involve Christians every day. Why and how should Christians respond appropriately to these issues and become a winsome witness for Christ will be tackled.

Bible Study Methods

This course will equip students with three foundational skills in studying the Bible. These methods are simple and easy to learn and are useful for both personal study and for teaching. They are also basic skills necessary for further studies in Bible interpretation and for developing Bibel study materials and messages. Less technical and more practical, Bible Study Methods is invaluable for every serious student of the Word.

Effective Communication

This course seeks to develop the student’s effectiveness as a Bible expositor and communicator in various contexts and settings. Focus will be given on message preparation and delivery. It includes an examination of various teaching and/or preaching principles and understanding some methods and styles of communication. These are to be applied to ministry skills such as leading small groups and public speaking/preaching. Students will be required to develop a devotional talk, a teaching outline, and a message. Emphasis is on practical application.

Leadership 4 – Leading Movements

This 6-session course is all about leading movements. The thrust of this course is to address leaders to continue the leadership culture in their organization even after they are gone. This course will look into the early church history chronicled in the Books of Acts as a model of movement leadership. We shall also provide contemporary examples of organizational leadership and draw out transferable principles from their best practices. Ultimately, this course will focus on discussing CCF’s movement leadership that is geared towards small group discipleship and church planting.
